With piano-based originals and featured arrangements of some familiar standards, Jeff Van Devender presents his debut cd titled Ascend followed by Bending Chords and Don't Ever Forget on the JavaMusiK label.

Ascend showcases ten songs that paint musical landscapes featuring distant strains which transport the listener to another place.

When asked why Ascend was the title of his first release, he replied, "There are many reasons to be left to the listener's own interpretations, but I hope the music of Ascend opens the door to an uplifting experience."

Bending Chords picked up where Ascend left off - taking the listener to a new level of higher ground. "I can't wait for people to hear this one!" he exclaimed upon it's release. "Just the production alone is far superior to Ascend, not to mention the music!" That opinion had Van Devender excited to get out & promote this music at a pace he hadn't seen since Ascend was first released.

JavaMusiK has now released Jeff's 3rd cd Don't Ever Forget and he has once again been promoting at a feverish pace.
